Exhibit Installation

It's done! I am back in Hiroshima and have been scanning, editing, printing and glueing. I had so much help to make this exhibition happening. Two professors Nakamura-sensei and Charles-sensei were coaching me and giving me a hand in creating the 3D prints. Fellow photographer Fritz-san, two Master students Kawamoto-san and Matsumoto-san, as well as an army of first year students helped me glueing the photographs to the plates. For the translations of the texts Moeko-san put aside some time during her exam period. I would like to thank you all for advising and helping! Arigatoo gozaimasu!

In the end the exhibtion turned out a little bit different. There are now Polaroids on translucent plates on the windows. The 3D prints are mounted on a window, too. There is a very nice play with the lights, when the sun is shining through them. Funny how light makes the shapes work. The big formats print are in two formats since we ran out of large format paper. To me this was rather fortunate, since it looks much better like this.

We have rehearsed the songs and tested the acoustic, too! Now, the excitement is slowly increasing.

Here are some impressions of the former bank building and the setup of the exhibition.
